The Tazbar fee structure is laid out in the table below. There are 4 different levels for sellers on Tazbar to choose from depending on which suits their circumstances.

The Basic level.
This is a free to list membership that has no monthly fee. Basic level sellers pay a final price commission as shown in the table. There are also further restrictions such as the number of live listings, and reduced upgrade options. This level is designed for private sellers. Sellers are allowed to use both Buy Now and Auction formats.

Levels 1 to 3.
These levels offer more value for money and are designed for business or serious hobby sellers. These levels require the seller to pay a monthly subscription in advance. In return for this Tazbar does not charge a final price fee. This is an excellent way to control exactly what your selling overheads will be each month. These levels are also embellished with free upgrades and extra features that are valued at more that the monthly subscription cost. These upgrades will help the business seller to promote their items better. Unused upgrades can be carried forward to following months as long as a continuous membership is maintained.

Monthly Membership.
A Basic level seller does not need to pay a membership fee. Basic members have facility restrictions as shown on the fees table. Levels 1 and above have a membership fee but do not pay a final price fee when an item sells. The membership fee is charged in advance per month. The first month is charged on submission of the membership application. One month refers to a 30 day period.

Free Benefits.
Level 1 and above include free benefits that value more than the cost of the monthly membership. These benefits are in the form of upgrades and features. They can be carried forward if not used during the month. Benefits can not be transfered to other user accounts. All outstanding benefits will be lost if a member does not renew their membership to at least level 1.

Listing Fees
Tazbar does not charge a listing fee for any advert type except Classified Adverts which can be found further down the fees table.

Final Price Fee.
Basic level members are charged a final pice commission as shown in the table. Level 1 and above are not charged any final price fees. Classified Adverts do not attract final price fees for any membership levels.

Maximum Live Adverts.
This is the maximum number of live adverts a member can have on the website at any one time.

Bold
This makes your listing title font bold which helps it to stand out better on the search results and browse pages.

Highlight
This highlights your listing in a different colour which helps it to stand out better on the search results and browse pages.

Forum Featured
This upgrade will feature your advert at the top of the forum pages. This will appear on a rotation basis throughout its duration. The forum section is a very popular part of Tazbar and is a very effective way of promoting your items. There is also a "view all featured items" link alongside the forum featured that shows all forum featured items on a seperate page.

Browsing Featured.
This upgrade will feature your advert at the top of the list pages as people browse the site. This will appear on a rotation basis throughout its duration. There is also a "view all featured items link" that takes you to a seperated page showing all featured items in that category. Unlike the front of category feature this section remains at the top of the screen as users visit page 2 and onwards. The further into a category the user goes the more specific the featured items become.

Front of Category Featured
This puts your listing at the front of the search result when a user searchs by keyword. It also shows your listing at the front of the category as a user browses specific categories.

Promo Pack
This is a bundle of 5 different features all 5 are included and are designed to help promote similar items to buyers:

Advert page promotion similar items. When a visitor comes from an external link generated by Tazbar such as Google Products direct to an advert page 4 similar items will be displayed. These items are specific to the title search that found the advert and can be from different sellers. Tazbar will only display other sellers items when the traffic has come from an external link generated by Tazbar.

Advert page promotion "sellers other items".
This is a display similar to the one described above however this shows only the sellers items and not other members items. This displays when a visitor comes to the advert page from onsite links or seller generated traffic. (such as Seller Gallery or Forum Signature links)

Watching screen promotion.
When a buyer watches an item a small display of 4 similar items will show below that entry in the Control Panel "Watching" page.

Didn’t Win Screen promotion.
The same as watching screen promotion except in the “Didn’t win” page.

Favourite Seller promotion.
The same as Watching Screen Promotion except that it is in the Favourite Sellers page and the 4 items will be from the same seller.

Home Page Featured
This gives you maximum potential visibility to your advert. Your advert will appear on the Tazbar home page.This will appear on a rotation basis throughout its duration. In addition there is a "view all featured items" link that opens a page showing just home page featured items.

Seller Gallery.
The Seller Gallery allows a seller to add a certain amount of customisation to their items that are currently for sale. For further information please click here.

Auto Re-list.
Sellers that opt for membership above the basic level have auto relist included free of charge. This service gives the seller the choice of allowing their items to automatically re-list if unsold and keeps the items moving through the system to the front of the search results pages. This facility is available to basic level sellers at the upgrade charge per month shown in the fees table.

Google Promotion.
Tazbar submits "Buy Now" auctions to Google Products. This is a free service provided to level 1 and above to attract new visitors to the website. Auction only listings do not get submitted.

Scheduled Start.
This facility is now available free to all but basic level members. It allows the seller to schedule the start time of their advert to suit their selling or trading time table.

Extra photos.
Every seller is allowed to add a photo free of charge to their listing. Photos after the first are charged at the rate show in the table. Level 3 members do not get charged for extra photos (limited to 10 per advert).

Subtitle
The 2nd title line is optional and appears below your main title line in the search result listings. This gives you more space to describe your item and will display in the search and browse results pages. The subtitle is not included in keyword searches.

Reserve Price
A reserve price can be included if you wish to protect an item from selling too cheaply. When a reserve price is added to an auction a message "Reserve Not Met" will show until a bid is placed equal to or higher than the reserve price.

If the reserve price has not been met by the end of the auction any transaction resulting from bids is none binding. There are fee's for this service which are capped as shown in the table. If the item reaches or goes beyond the reserve price the fee is not applied. Reserve price fees apply to all membership levels.

Classified Adverts
Classified Adverts are charged a single flat rate with no final price fees. Classified adverts do not contain buy or bid buttons so therefore only end when their time expires or they are ended by the person who placed the advert. For security reasons classified adverts are charged for at the time of submission. Classified adverts are only available in limited categories.

Basic Level Membership

This level allows private sellers the option to list a limited number of items without a monthly membership commitment. There are no promotional features included, however members may choose to add some of the upgrades that are available.

Level 1 Membership

This level of membership caters for the part time or business seller. It allows the seller the benefit of a monthly fixed cost solution and also has some free promotional upgrades that are valued at more than the monthly subscription.

The seller benefits from the following inclusive benefits:

No listing fee.
No final price fee.
Upto 2000 live adverts.
All upgrade options available.
Free Auto Re-list.
Buy Now adverts submitted to Google.

Free upgrades every month.

3 x Front of Category features
Permanant Promo Pack.
1 x free Classified Advert per month.
Free scheduled start option.

Level 2 Membership

This level of membership caters for the larger business seller. It allows the seller the benefit of a monthly fixed cost solution and also has some free promotional upgrades that are valued at more than the monthly subscription.

The seller benefits from the following inclusive benefits:

No listing fee.
No final price fee.
Up to 6000 live adverts.
All upgrade options available.
Free Auto Re-list.
Buy Now adverts submitted to Google.

Free upgrades every month.

2 x Browsing Featured upgrades
5 x Front of Category features
Permanant Promo Pack.
5 x free Classified Advert per month.
Free scheduled start option.

Promo Pack

As the name suggests this feature is designed to help promote your items to a wider audience. Depending on the location and the way a user navigates to certain pages on the site, featured similar items will be displayed. When the feature is on an advert page and the viewer has navigated from an offsite promotional link such as Google products, random similar items will be shown to tempt the viewer to visit more adverts in case the one they see isn't exactly what they are looking for. These products are selected on a word match in the title.

If a viewer finds their way to an advert from an onsite link, such as from the search/browse results pages, forum featured and so on the items shown will be more from that seller only.

In addition similar features are included in the Watching, Didn't Win and Favorite Sellers pages of the control panel. All of these 5 promotional features are included within this bundled pack.
